N301: Networking and Security on Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Network Infrastructure - 4 Days
Who Should Attend:
Technical personnel will develop an understanding of the challenges MS Windows network as well as developing security solutions in enterprise scaled networks.
Prerequisites:
A good knowledge of TCP/IP is expected.
Objectives: This module focuses on advanced networking concepts and topics relevant to the Windows 2000/XP administrator. Although the implementation of Windows Networking services is relatively easy, achieving the best possible results and running them at an optimum level can be problematic because practitioners are not sufficiently knowledgeable about Windows' full potential.
Many MS Windows networks are vulnerable because administrators are not aware of tools for monitoring the network. Optimum data and system security can be achieved by mastering the available tools. This module focuses on these areas. The last segment of this module requires participants to develop a full-scale network for a hypothetical enterprise.
